Henry Reeves was born in Buckshutem on April17, 1912 at the home of his parents, Lewis Reeves and Elizabeth Pettit Reeves. He lived his entire life in that home working with his father on the family farm and produce stand. The farm and roadside stand are still maintained by another family member. Henry enjoyed hunting and trapping in his spare time. He was always very interested in the history of the area and was a member of the Mauricetown Historical Society, providing local history for it from time to time. He was a devoted son and gave special care to his parents until their death. He was a man with the gift of an appreciation for people of all ages and personalities and enjoyed talking with the many acquaintances he made over the years at the produce stand.
Henry died on October 4, 2005, after 93 years in the home he loved.
